At least seven people have been killed and seven others injured in
Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh on Monday night after a truck ran over them.
According to news agency ANI, all those injured and deceased in the incident were sleeping near a divider on the road.
Hindustan Times reported that the incident took place at Gorakhpur
highway. The report stated that all the victims were residents of Kanpur
and were in Ayodhya to attend a religious event.
